We cut to the customer’s specification, for a retail chain or a processor, and keep to it in every delivery. We also vacuum-pack. Need a cut that is not on the list? We will set up the line for it.
We break the half carcasses down into cuts, bone and trim them, and pack them to the customer’s specification, including vacuum packing. Then we chill or freeze them.
We work to HACCP and BRCGS Food Safety.

By refrigerated transport, with partner haulage companies, without breaking the cold chain.

Quality and certification
We are an establishment approved by the Polish Veterinary Inspection. We work to the HACCP system and the BRCGS Food Safety standard, and our testing is done by accredited laboratories.
Global food safety standard. Certified scope: cutting and trimming of pork into chilled and frozen pork and vacuum-packed meat cuts.

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. It runs in the plant together with the BRCGS standard.

The plant’s veterinary approval number, as listed by the General Veterinary Inspectorate. The oval identification mark with this number goes on the packaging of our products (WE is the Polish for EC).
Testing
Meat testing is done by accredited laboratories. We also monitor equipment, premises and the staff responsible for production.

Carnis was founded in 1997 in Koło as the family business of Bronisław Rowecki. From the start we have been cutting pork, with the reliability Greater Poland is known for. Today the company is run by Hubert and Tomasz Rowecki.
We value tradition, but we also invest in modern methods. The plant at ul. Zachodnia 5 has grown with the company, and we invest in machinery and automation, also with funding from the European Union.
We have known the meat market since 1997, so we know how to match our offer to the requirements of a retail chain or processor. Need a cut that is not on the list? We will set up the line for it.

Rural Development Programme 2014–2020 (Program Rozwoju Obszarów Wiejskich 2014–2020)
The operation „Rozwój prowadzonej działalności, wdrożenie innowacji, w Zakładzie Mięsnym CARNIS – KOŁO Bronisław Rowecki Sp. j. w tym przeciwdziałanie zmianom klimatu” (development of the business and introduction of innovation at the Carnis Koło meat plant, including climate change mitigation) is co-financed by the European Union under the sub-measure “Support for investments in processing/marketing and/or development of agricultural products” of the Rural Development Programme for 2014–2020.
Operation indicator: maintaining long-term contracts with primary processors of agricultural products that buy raw materials from farmers under contracts, for more than 75% of the agricultural products purchased and processed.
